Proper Posture Alignment: Why Good Movement Begins with Good Alignment
Share
One of the most common questions I hear is:
"Which technique should I learn first?"
My answer is almost always the same.
Before technique comes alignment.
In traditional movement practice, posture is not about appearance.
It is about structure.
Over the years, I've seen many people spend time learning increasingly complex movements while overlooking the basics.
The result is often similar.
· unnecessary tension appears
· breathing feels less comfortable
· movement becomes harder than it needs to be
If the structure is not well organized, everything built upon it becomes less stable.
When posture becomes more balanced,
the body begins to support itself more naturally.
Breathing often feels easier.
Movement becomes smoother.
This isn't simply an idea.
Many people begin noticing these subtle changes through regular practice.
Have you ever made a small adjustment to your posture and been surprised by how different everything felt?
Reflection
Sometimes the smallest adjustments create the biggest changes in how movement feels.
